Around Here Staged Reading Series presents A Medal For Murder by Ken Freehill and Darryl Allera In the Vietnam era, a small town wants to honor a fallen son. His widow is in town for the funeral. His captain is in town to keep the affair simple and quiet, but the local Veterans insist on a big deal. But nobody is telling the truth and it seems the only one not turning out for the funeral is the corpse. Yet. ![]() ![]() Proposed set, modeled to scale Lisa Devine, a newcomer to DFW, directed the reading using a few necessary costume pieces and props agains the backdrop of the Rover Dramawerks' Woman in Mind stage.
