In the Vietnam era, a small town wants to honor a fallen son. His widow is in town for the funeral. His captain is in town to keep the affair simple and quiet, but the local Veterans insist on a big deal. But nobody is telling the truth and it seems the only one not turning out for the funeral is the corpse. Yet.

Proposed set, modeled to scale

Lisa Devine, a newcomer to DFW, directed the reading using a few necessary costume pieces and props agains the backdrop of the Rover Dramawerks' Woman in Mind stage.
